Match Winner
A bet on which team will win the match — Team A or Team B. This is the simplest market. Example: Team A's odds are 1.65, Team B's odds are 2.30. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,150 if Team B wins.
Toss Winner
A bet on which team wins the toss before the match starts. The toss is entirely like a coin flip — so both teams' odds are usually almost equal.
Top Batsman
A bet on which batsman will score the most runs for their team. In T20 innings, batsmen who score quickly tend to have the edge in this market.
Total Runs Over/Under
A bet on whether the total runs in a match will be more or less than the bookmaker's set line. For example: with a line of 315, if Team A and Team B score 330 combined, 'Over' wins.
Multi Bet
Combining multiple bets into one linked bet. Three selections with odds 1.70 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.81 — a ৳100 stake returns ৳581 if all win. But if any one bet loses, the entire bet is gone.
Innings Runs / Wickets
Markets on how many runs will be scored or how many wickets will fall within a set number of overs — these are available especially in live betting. Odds shift quickly during the powerplay or death overs.
How to Read Odds
Betting odds are written in three formats: decimal, fractional and American. abc8 most commonly displays decimal odds. All three formats convey the same information — only the way they are written differs.
Example 1 — Team A wins, stake ৳1,000
Example 2 — Team B is favourite, stake ৳1,000
Comparing Odds Across Three Formats
All three formats express the same odds for the same match differently. Decimal is the most straightforward — the total return is shown directly. The fractional format shows only the profit portion.
In the American format, a positive (+) sign means how much profit you make on a ৳100 stake, and a negative (−) sign means how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. Favourites usually show a minus sign.
Remember: the lower the odds, the more likely the betting market considers that team or outcome to be. But betting is for entertainment — no odds guarantee a win.

Live Betting — Odds Change During the Match
